Whether you like them straight and bold or arched and feathered, eyebrows are arguably one of the most important feature of any face. If you’re not happy with with ones you have, there are so many ways you can enhance them, this includes brow gel, pencil and even tattooing. But our absolute favourite and most natural enhancement is microblading. Unlike some other terrible options that look marker pen-effect, microblading is more of an embroidery of trompe l'œil strokes that look just like real hairs.

During the microblading process the beautician will use a special microblading pen to tattoo individual strokes one by one. This is a completely meticulous process that usually takes around 2 hours to complete, this can be a lot longer for Micro Scalp Pigmentation. The results of this normally last for up to three years before beginning to fade, therefore it’s important to know that the beauticians will pay a lot of attention to detail.

During the first hour of your appointment the beautician will draw the shape in with a removable pencil. This is actually a long part of the process and often considered as the most important step. Throughout this time, the best customised shape will be chosen to the clients taste. It’s important to understand that places that claime to complete the process in less than one hour, may not be the best option. It’s not a rushed procedure and cannot usually be done within the hour.

Before the microblading process begins, a special topical numbing cream should be applied to the area to reduce discomfort, this will usually be followed by a liquid aesthetic.

The best part about microblading is that there is absolutely no down time. Once your have finished your appointment, your new set of brows will be ready for a selfie immediately.

A follow up appointment one month later is recommended; this will ensure a longer life for your new brows.

After your appointment has finished the maintenance for microblading is relatively low. As soon as your brows have healed from the process you can begin to rub them and enjoy activities such as swimming.

No special after care is required, expect a touch up once a year. Now you can begin to enjoy perfect eyebrows everyday.
